Books I recommend

• Nudist on the Late Shift : And Other True Tales of Silicon Valley by Po Bronson. He's written 3 books so far and they are all hilarious. He writes about life in Silicon Valley and seems very perceptive for somebody who's not in the business.
• The Big Con : The Story of the Confidence Man by Luc Sante. This is a look at how con men rip off unsuspecting yet deserving victims and has lots of old-timey underworld color.
• Software by Rudy Rucker. This is the first volume of a series that includes Wetware and Freeware. Really funny sci-fi that involves artificially intelligent robots and more.
